ABC Family, one of the cable networks that almost exclusively target teens and preteens,
received an "excellent" rating from GLAAD (the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) "due to the quality and diversity of its many LGBT impressions." Fifty-five percent of its programming hours were "LGBT-inclusive." Among broadcast networks, The CW -- which reaches the same target audience -- came in first, with 33 percent of its programming hours "LGBT-inclusive."
