Young people in college and high school face an ever-increasing number of threats against their faith. Plus, they face huge distractions through technology and media. What can parents do to combat it all? You spend all those years raising your kids in the Christian worldview, only to have them go off to school and lose their faith. What can be done to prevent that?

"Many of the statistics scare us about what happens to the next generation of kids when they leave our homes, schools and churches to head off the college and into the culture," says John Stonestreet. "But what does the data actually say about students and this great epidemic of exodus from the Church that we hear so much about."

To unpack what's really going on and how the older generations must respond, John invites David Kinnaman, president of the Barna research group and author of "You Lost Me," an unprecedented and thorough investigation of the matter, and Jef Myers, whose role as President of Summit Ministries places him at the crossroads between young people who lose or embrace their faith.

More often than not, says Dave Kinnaman, research shows that students retain a deep desire for spiritual engagement and connection, and don't necessarily have doubts about Christianity as much as the institution of the Church.

Jeff Myers, whose book, "Cultivate" lays out a blueprint for reaching the next generation in ways they long for, and how to effectively answer their questions, provide for their needs, and point them to the Savior who purchased a Church that will never fall, no matter how skeptical the next generation.
